بيوگرافي

Biography

Esmaeil Zaraii Zavaraki is full professor of educational technology and head of educational technology department in faculty of psychology and educational sciences at Allameh Tabataba'i University, Tehran, Iran. He was head of educational technology department in faculty of psychology and educational sciences at Allameh Tabataba'i University, Tehran, Iran for a period of 8 years. He was a visiting researcher as an Excellence Scholarship Fellow in the University of Geneva, Switzerland from July 2018 to July 2020. He was also head of educational sciences department in Azad University Electronic Campus, Tehran, Iran for a period of 4 years. He has served as educational assistant director of faculty of psychology and educational sciences at Allameh Tabataba'i University, Tehran, Iran for a period of 4 years. He is the author of 85 published papers in national and international journals and conferences. He has supervised 144 M.A and 20 Doctoral theses in areas of educational technology, special education with emphases on educational technology and assistive technology. He has carried out 20 workshops in universities and schools for teachers. He is teaching graduate courses such as: educational technology in special education, web based education, distance education with emphases on electronic learning, designing of learning center, advanced teaching methods, and advanced educational technology at Allameh Tabataba'i University, Tehran, Iran since 2003 year. He is author of 5 books and translator of 20 books from English language to Persian that are reference sources in Iran.

Now, his research interests are: technology integration in special education, special education with emphases on educational technology, special education and assistive technology, multimedia in special education, hypermedia in special education, designing E- learning environments for people with special educational needs, blended learning approach in special education.
